Lucy Harland has been a member of Blipfoto since 2006, posting over 1,500 images in her one-photo- a-day journal. In 2012, Lucidity Media was asked to work with Blipfoto on a project celebrating the 2012 Year of Creative Scotland, creating a snapshot of Scottish creativity.

Central to Lucidity Media’s management of the project was building new relationships and encouraging participation from as wide a spectrum of Scottish people and places as possible. Over 4,000 images poured in between the end of June and late October, and some of Scotland’s top creative names helped to judge the best entries. The best photos were picked for a book and touring exhibition.

Set up in 2006, Blipfoto is an online community where people upload one image, every day, creating a journal of their lives.
